If you are interested in installing a PV system greater than 10 kilowatts up to 100 kilowatts, Black Hills recommends the following steps:
- First, review the program rules.
- After you are familiar with the program rules, contact a qualified PV installation contractor from the list provided by the Colorado Solar Energy Industries Association at this link: www.coseia.org/Directory.html
- Black Hills recommends that you get estimates from two or more contractors.
- Once you have selected an installation contractor, fill out an online application for an incentive from Black Hills. Your installer can provide you with the information necessary to fill out an application, or can fill it out for you. Fill out an application online here.
- Once your application, deposit and level 2 review form with 1-line diagram is received, it will be reviewed and when approved a reservation and appropriate agreement(s) will be assigned.
- Black Hills will notify you about your rebate and PBI payment following our receipt of your fully completed application.
- Deposits are due at time of application submittal and must be received by the Company at its Pueblo, Colorado offices by 3:00 p.m. on the fifth calendar day following the date of submission of the application. If not, the application will be declined and the deposit returned. The deposit will be refunded upon successful completion and the system is operating and interconnected. The minimum deposit amount is $500.00. See deposit policy for further information pertaining to deposits and the amount calculations.
