FOR PV SYSTEMS UP TO 10 KILOWATTS - THIRD PARTY OWNED

If you are interested in installing a PV system greater than 500 watts up to 10 kilowatts that is 3rd party owned, Black Hills recommends the following steps:

  • First, review the program rules.
  • Black Hills recommends that you get estimates from two or more contractors.
  • Once you have selected an installation contractor, fill out an application for an incentive from Black Hills. Your installer can provide you with the information necessary to fill out an online application, or can fill it out for you. Fill out an application online here.
  • Once your application with a simple 1-line diagram showing the PV system design with major components and a deposit is received, it will be reviewed and when approved, a reservation number will be assigned and a reservation letter agreement will be provided explaining the incentive available for your PV system.
  • Deposits are due at time of application submittal and must be received by the Company at its Pueblo, Colorado offices by 3:00 p.m. on the fifth calendar day following the date of submission of the application.
  • Black Hills will notify you about your PBI payment and terms following our receipt of your fully completed application.
