Iowa Small Commercial Evaluation Program
Now there's an easy, inexpensive way to save on energy costs.
Black Hills Energy is offering our small commercial customers a comprehensive energy evaluation to review energy consumption and identify the characteristics, condition and performance of the facility's energy systems.
A qualified evaluator and industry expert will come to your location and evaluate:
- HVAC system controls
- HVAC system efficiency and operations
- Domestic hot water
- Building envelope
- Commercial cooking
Customers will receive an energy evaluation report detailing suggestions for improving energy efficiency and ultimately reducing your energy bill. The evaluator may install up to $50 worth of low-cost energy-saving measures during the evaluation. Pay no money now, a $50 fee will be charged to your bill.
To be eligible for some rebate measures, an evaluation is required. Please review the prescriptive rebate form for qualifications.
To qualify for this service, facilities must be less than 25,000 square feet.

Funding is limited and audit request will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis. This program ends December 31, 2012, or when funding is depleted.
