  1. How long will it take to receive my first eBill?


    You will receive your first eBill within 30 days of enrollment. After that, you can view and pay your bill online for free using your checking or savings account.

  2. What environmental benefits are there with eBill?

    According to Javelin Strategy & Research, if every American household went paperfree, it could:

    • Reduce solid waste in U.S. landfills by more than 800,000 tons a year
    • Save an estimated 18.5 million trees a year
    • Curb the release of greenhouse gases (CO2) by 2.1 million tons a year
  4. How do I know that eBill is safe?


    We take precautions to ensure your information is secure by using SSL (Secure Socket Layer), industy standard security encryption protocol. We also require you to enter your User Name and Password before you can view your bill. This process makes sure that your billing information remains secure.

  5. Will my eBill look the same as my paper bill?


    Yes! The eBill is exactly the same as the paper copy you currently receive.

  6. Is there a cost to use this service or to make a payment?


    EBill is free. Once you sign up, you will be able to submit a free on-line payment through your checking or savings account.

    If you decide to pay your eBill via credit card using SPEEDPAY, the regular $3.95 convenience fee to SPEEDPAY will apply.

  7. Do I always have to pay my eBills with the bank account I provided during enrollment?


    No. You can change bank accounts and will still have the same payment options with eBill as you would if you received a paper bill. Note:

    • If you need to modify your banking information, log in to your account and click the "View Payment Accounts" link to add or modify your banking information
    • If you decide to pay your eBill via credit card using SPEEDPAY, the regular $3.95 convenience fee to SPEEDPAY will apply.
  8. Can I sign up for eBill if I'm enrolled in CheckLINE or a budget plan?


    Absolutely. You may enroll in any combination of these programs at no cost. For example, if you were enrolled in eBill, CheckLINE and a budget plan, you would receive a budget bill via email each month, and the bill would automatically be paid from your designated bank account.

  9. What if I delete my eBill notification and/or can't find it?


    No worries! If you lose the notification, your bill will still be available on the website. Simply log in to your account and select the View/Pay Bills option.

  10. Will I still receive a paper bill after I enroll in eBill?


    You will no longer receive a paper bill when you enroll in eBill. The electronic bill will be available for 16 months after the bill date and is available to print or save to your own computer if desired.

  11. When will payments post to my account?


    Payments made by 1 PM Central Standard Time (CST) will post the next business day. Payments made after 1 PM CST will post two business days later.
