HPwES consist of a test-in evaluation and a test-out evaluation. The test-in evaluation takes approximately 2-3 hrs.
A HPwES evaluation from Black Hills Energy takes your evaluation further. While on site you'll receive:

Our evaluators will install or show you how to install beneficial, low-cost measures -- at no cost to you! We'll also provide you with educational information on managing energy costs and refer you to any other Black Hills Energy rebate programs if indicated by the evaluation results (Residential Evaluation is mandatory to qualify for our Home Envelope Rebates in IA ).
For a limited time only, the blower door test is included in a HPwES evaluation for a reduced rate of $100 (added to your utility bill), and once you complete the HPwES path you can qualify for a $200 HPwES bonus rebate, off-setting the initial cost.
