College Scholarships From Black Hills Energy-Kansas Gas

Black Hills Energy-Kansas Gas will award 15 college scholarships of $1,000 each to students graduating from Kansas high schools in 2012. The application is available below.

Deadline

The application must be completed and returned to the address on the form by Friday, March 16.

Eligibility

• Parent or guardian must be a current Black Hills Energy-Kansas Gas customer
• Student must rank in the top 25 percent of the graduating class or score 21 or higher on the ACT or 980 or higher on the SAT.
• Student must plan to work toward a bachelor's degree at an accredited college or university.
• Student is not a relative of a current or retired employee of Black Hills Corp. or its business units, including Black Hills Energy-Kansas Gas. “Relative” is defined here as a child, grandchild, brother, sister, stepchild, foster child, spouse or in-law.

Applications must be completed in full to be considered. We cannot contact applicants for further information due to the volume of applications received.
