Colorado Ambassador, Amber, presented a $200 donation to an amazing local charity that empowers students with disabilities through adaptive sports.
The funds helped sponsor the Amazing Race for Adaptive Sports, Montrose’s first adventure and scavenger hunt. The even also assisted with the the annual fundraiser for The Montrose Olathe Adaptive Sports Program (MOASP).
The program provides students with disabilities in Montrose County Schools the opportunity to participate in adaptive sports such as skiing, snowshoeing, climbing, swimming, and fishing. The program’s goal is for all students to have the equipment and instruction they need to be active, try new things, and experience the great outdoors.
Black Hills Energy is proud to be a partner in helping achieve that goal.
