Park County Animal Shelter shows community’s kind and generous spirit | Wyoming
Park county wyoming

Each year the Park County Animal Shelter cares for 500 dogs and cats. The Shelter houses them, cares for them, and connects them with someone to nurture them for the rest of their lives.

Black Hills Energy employees in Cody, Wyoming, were recently on hand to present a donation to the Park County Animal Shelter. The funds will help with the daily care of the animals at the Shelter, which includes items such as food, vaccinations, and vet care. Additionally, a portion of the funds goes towards a sponsorship of the Annual Jack Russel and Corgi Races - the largest fund raiser of the year for the Shelter.

The Black Hills Energy Foundation also recently gave the shelter a grant to help with its capital campaign to build a new facility that can better serve the people and pets of Park County.
