A good science fair project is one of the best learning experiences a student an undertake. That’s why Black Hills Energy was proud to sponsor the Northeast Regional Science Fair in Newcastle, Wyoming on January 29, 2020.

Our own Michael Howe served as a judge.

"Seeing the science fair projects and visiting with the students, I can tell you we are in good hands with this generation," said Mike.

Markie Whitney won the Black Hills Energy “Best in Fair” award for her project, “Thermodynamic Solar Panels”.
