Serving up food security | South Dakota
Salvation Army

During the COVID-19 outbreak South Dakota employees recognized the need for food security in the Rapid City, South Dakota and the Black Hills areas.

In response to this need South Dakota designated $10,000 each to Feeding SD and Meals on Wheels, and $5,000 to Salvation Army.

“It covered the cost of an order of food for our pantry, which allowed us to serve 300 more households with food.

Black Hills Energy was the first to reach out to support us – your donation made an immediate difference!” Kelsie Moreno – Rapid City Corps Officer Salvation Army.
