Arkansas team spreads holiday cheer to domestic violence shelter
delivering Christmas presents to serenity house

Our Black Hills Energy Arkansas team helped bring some holiday cheer to a local shelter this year.

On Dec. 17, the team delivered approximately $1,700 worth of Christmas presents to the 31 women and children currently being sheltered in the Serenity House, in Mountain Home, Arkansas. Not only did Black Hills Energy employees contribute to this wonderful gift drive, but two Arkansas contractors, Barrows Excavation and Savage Plumbing, also donated.

Serenity House is a nonprofit shelter for battered women and their children. The facility provides emergency shelter free of charge.

We partner with our communities and customers, providing the kind of energy that fuels those areas and the lives of those we serve. Feel free to share the stories and photos. Make sure to tag us on FacebookInstagram, LinkedIn and Twitter.
