Black Hills Energy receives Wyoming honor
wyoming honor received

Black Hills Energy was recognized as a large business of the year by the Campbell County, Wyoming, Chamber of Commerce at their annual banquet in Gillette, Wyoming, recently.

Marc, vice president of mine operations and generation, and Michael, Wyoming community affairs manager, were on hand to accept the award.

Black Hills Energy was honored for its engagement in the local community. The award acknowledged not only our company commitment to keeping the heat and lights on for Campbell County residents but also our employee volunteerism and support of community assistance programs, local events and organizations.

Approximately 200 of our employees work in the Campbell County area in the Wyodak Mine, power generation and gas utility departments. This award is a testament not only to those folks but to all of our employees across the Black Hills Energy service territory.

Congratulations to everyone!

We partner with our communities and customers, providing the kind of energy that fuels those areas and the lives of those we serve. Feel free to share the stories and photos. Make sure to tag us on FacebookInstagram, LinkedIn and Twitter.
