Elementary students say thank you in South Dakota
acheivers

Junior Achievement (JA) gives Black Hills Energy employees an opportunity to have a positive impact on K-12 students in our communities.

JA is a national nonprofit program geared toward opening students’ eyes to financial and civic education matters such as leadership opportunities, financial awareness, workforce preparation and entrepreneurship. Being involved with JA gives our employees an opportunity to share their skills and professional experience with students of all ages.

Volunteering with the program brings its own rewards; however, having students at Corral Drive Elementary School in Rapid City, South Dakota, send a special thank you note signed by the entire class was an extra great gift!

We are proud to be a long-time sponsor of Junior Achievement of South Dakota. A big thank you to everyone who volunteers with this great program!

We partner with our communities and customers, providing the kind of energy that fuels those areas and the lives of those we serve. Feel free to share the stories and photos. Make sure to tag us on FacebookInstagram, LinkedIn and Twitter.
