In September, the Ogallala, Nebraska, team shared their best chili recipes during the 37th Annual Ogallala Indian Summer Rendezvous Chili Cookoff.
The team took fourth place out of a field of about 20 competitors and spent the day serving chili and engaging with the community.
The annual rendezvous honors a tradition started when settlers, trappers and other “wanderers” in the South Platte Valley would gather to celebrate the bounty of summer and have one last gathering before winter arrived. The event includes live music, a car show, corn hole tournament, a craft market, a quilt show, an ugly dog contest and much more.
We partner with our communities and customers, providing the kind of energy that fuels those areas and the lives of those we serve. Feel free to share the stories and photos. Make sure to tag us on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and Twitter.
