Black Hills Energy is constructing a 6.4 mile long natural gas line south of the City of Dubuque in Dubuque County, Iowa. The natural gas line will start at the Black Hills Energy facility located southeast of the intersection of U.S. Highway 61 and U.S. Highway 151, extend north and west toward the City of Dubuque, and end at another existing Black Hills Energy facility. The natural gas line will be owned, operated and maintained by Black Hills Energy.

To meet the growing energy needs of Aspen, we’re upgrading the natural gas mainline along McLain Flats Road. Construction will begin on April 16 and continue through the fall. This is the final upgrade to a phased project that began in 2005, which provides Aspen with additional back-up supply of natural gas and provides for the area’s expected growth.
