Will natural gas harm my engine?

No. Actually, it can be better for your engine as it is a cleaner-burning fuel.

How much natural gas will my vehicle use?

As with gasoline or diesel fuel, the amount used depends on the vehicle and engine sizes, the MPG rating, highway or city miles and driving habits. 

How is the conversion kit installed?

Certified technicians are available to professionally install your conversion kits. We can partner with you to identify qualified installers in your area.

Do you have dedicated installers?

We work with several factory-trained, certified installers. We will gather all the information and experts you need to convert your fleet.

Can a diesel engine be converted?

No, a vehicle powered by a diesel engine can be repowered by switching the diesel engine for a dedicated natural gas engine. The other option is to add compressed natural gas (CNG) blending capability. This technology, available for some diesel engines, allows the engine to operate on a controlled mixture of diesel fuel and CNG.  

Are the conversion kits approved and certified by the Environmental Protection Agency?

Yes, we only promote the use of certified, approved conversion kits and installation.

Are tax credits available for fleet conversion?

Yes, you may qualify for federal and state rebates and credits. We can help you find and apply for all applicable federal and state rebates and credits. You should also consult your attorney or tax advisor when considering tax issues.

Will I be able to pass my state inspections?

Yes, you will be able to pass all inspections related to your conversion. Your emissions will be much lower if tested while running on natural gas. Conversion kits are designed to meet or exceed the most stringent emission standards in all 50 states.

How much does it cost to convert?

There are many factors involved in estimating the cost to convert.

How long does it take to install a conversion kit?

Depending on the vehicle, most installations are done in just eight to 12 hours. 

How long will the natural gas tank last?

Your kit and tank most likely will outlast your vehicle.

Can the natural gas tank explode in an accident?

A natural gas tank must meet strict government safety standards. These tanks are extremely strong and safer than a plastic or metal gasoline tank. On a global scale, millions of cars have been safely fueled by natural gas. That includes many federal, state and local government vehicles.

Can I install more than one tank?

Yes, you can install more than one tank to increase your driving range, particularly in heavy-duty vehicles or vehicles that travel long distances daily.

Can the conversion kit be removed?

Yes, it can be removed and installed on another vehicle under the direction of a certified installer.
