Members of the supply chain department in Rapid City, South Dakota gathered on a Friday afternoon to clean up litter along a 2-mile stretch of Old Hill City Road.

This section of highway in the South Dakota Electric service territory was recently adopted by the department, and is marked at both ends with Black Hills Energy signs.

The stretch of right-of-way is required to be picked up at least twice annually. Our team cleaned up 5 total bags of litter, and each logged 2 miles of wellness steps.
