Working with over two dozen nonprofit community partners, Black Hills Cares helped over 2,300 families in need with energy assistance in 2018.

Invested in planting almost 2,400 trees which will grow to filter over 9 million gallons of storm water and avoid 3.7 million pounds of carbon.

We make an estimated direct annual impact of approximately $1.05 billion in the communities we serve. This includes franchise fees, contributions, compensation for our more than 2,800 employees, payments to suppliers and property, sales and use taxes paid in 2018.
