Bringing the holiday spirit to Eureka Springs, Arkansas
parade

As we are investing in multi-year pipeline and meter replacement projects in Eureka Springs, a tourism hotspot for Arkansas residents and out-of-state visitors, we wanted to thank residents and vacationers for their patience as we continue with construction projects in this community featuring narrow, hilly streets and very old rocky infrastructure.

We partnered with the Eureka Springs Chamber of Commerce to support a fun series of holiday events. They included the lighting of the downtown tree, music and window display events engaging small businesses, a tour of historic homes, Get Grinched, a parade, visits from Santa and an ugly sweater contest. We were recognized as a lead sponsor on many social media posts, in e-newsletters, on signage and at all the festive events.

Wade Arnold, senior gas operations technician who serves Carroll County for the Harrison division, judged the creative parade floats. And Arkansas ambassador and 2022 Volunteer of the Year Mindy Butler, operations support specialist in Harrison, represented Black Hills Energy to present the ugly sweater contest award.

Special thanks to these volunteers for bringing their positive energy on cold, weekend days to celebrate the holidays in this unique community.

We partner with our communities and customers, providing the kind of energy that fuels those areas and the lives of those we serve. Feel free to share the stories and photos. Follow us on FacebookInstagram, LinkedInTwitter, YouTube, and Pinterest for more!
