Hockey partnership benefits community in South Dakota
Rapid City Rush check presentation on ice

Black Hills Energy South Dakota is a proud supporter of our local Rapid City Rush hockey team!

Earlier this season, we partnered with the Rush to raise funds for two amazing organizations in our community. Through our combined efforts, we were able to present Black Hills Works and Rural America Initiatives with checks for $7,500 each!

We celebrated this donation at a Rush game sponsored by Black Hills Energy. The sponsored game was held specifically for fourth graders throughout the area. The arena was filled to the brim with kids from all over the region, some enjoying a professional hockey game for the first time. We are excited to use our partnerships with local organizations to impact the community.

Let’s go Rush!

We partner with our communities and customers, providing the kind of energy that fuels those areas and the lives of those we serve. Feel free to share the stories and photos. Follow us on FacebookInstagram, LinkedInTwitter, YouTube, and Pinterest for more!
