Montrose, Colorado office donation benefits community, students
printer donation

The plotter printer at our office in Montrose, Colorado, was nearing the end of its useful life, needed repairs and was slated to be replaced. But instead of simply tossing away the large and expensive printer used to create construction documents and technical drawings, materials manager Chase Snyder had another idea. He reached out to the Technical College of the Rockies in the neighboring community of Delta about donating it. The college jumped at the chance to obtain the printer, which can run about $20,000 new. Montrose gas operations tech Aaron Miller delivered the printer to the college in late June. After some minor repairs, it will be used by students in the school’s architectural computer-aided drafting and design and civil computer-aided drafting and design programs. Our Colorado team would like to salute Chase and Aaron for thinking outside the box and coming up with a new way to benefit the communities we serve.

We partner with our communities and customers, providing the kind of energy that fuels those areas and the lives of those we serve. Feel free to share the stories and photos. Follow us on FacebookInstagram, LinkedInTwitter, YouTube, and Pinterest for more!
