Nebraska career fair highlights local jobs
career

High school students from eight communities learned about career options in Nebraska during Southwest Nebraska Career Day in Cambridge, Nebraska.

During the Oct. 5 event, students had the chance to interact with area employees to learn about options available to them if they choose to call Nebraska “home” after finishing their formal education.

Students who stopped by the Black Hills Energy booth learned about a typical day in the life of a natural gas service technician. They also had a chance to make a hula hoop from a natural gas service line! This project was a great way to share more about the company and send students home with a talking point for their families.

We partner with our communities and customers, providing the kind of energy that fuels those areas and the lives of those we serve. Feel free to share the stories and photos. Follow us on FacebookInstagram, LinkedIn,Twitter, YouTube, and Pinterest for more!
