Lawrence for the Polar Plunge and KC Chiefs Win in Kansas
polar plunge

The Lawrence, Kansas, office gathered for a Polar Plunge Fundraiser and pre-Superbowl celebratory lunch.

Kansas City Chiefs fans and a few non-Chiefs fans raised $277 for the Polar Plunge event that benefits Special Olympics of Kansas.

Three of our very own participated in the plunge: Joe, Arlie and Jesse. The air temperature was 50 degrees, and the water was 100 degrees, so it wasn’t quite as “polar” as they had psyched themselves up for. The team comradery along with the pizza and dessert must have done the trick because the Chiefs topped the Eagles 38-35 (in case you didn’t know).

We partner with our communities and customers, providing the kind of energy that fuels those areas and the lives of those we serve. Feel free to share the stories and photos. Follow us on FacebookInstagram, LinkedInTwitter, YouTube, and Pinterest for more!
