Lawrence, Kansas, team has your back(pack)
backpack

When our teammates in Lawrence are given a challenge, they don’t back down!

In a partnership with United Way of Douglas County, these employees set a goal of raising enough money to buy 100 backpacks to donate to local students in need. In two short weeks, they raised enough money for more than 125 backpacks! Way to go!

Giving back means a lot to our communities. Ethan Unfred, utility construction planner, said, “United Way was very grateful, and we as a team look forward to helping out in the future.”

Thank you to Ethan, Jessica, Liz, and Mitch for organizing this and soliciting buy-in from the office. Your time and effort are greatly appreciated.

We partner with our communities and customers, providing the kind of energy that fuels those areas and the lives of those we serve. Feel free to share the stories and photos. Make sure to tag us on FacebookInstagram, LinkedIn and Twitter.
