Our social commitment is how we treat people, including employees and customers. Things like our dedication to safety, inclusion, community giving and economic development all are part of our social impact.

In our most recent sustainability report, we featured our partnership with Black Hills Works at our corporate headquarters office, Horizon Point. Black Hills Works is a Rapid City, South Dakota-based nonprofit organization that provides quality, person-centered services and support to adults with disabilities.

"Black Hills Works team members have become a part of our Black Hills Energy family. Beyond providing a fantastic onsite option for food service to our employees, this partnership has been particularly impactful for us, and we are inspired by the work ethic, joy, and great customer service Black Hills Works provides," said Jennifer, senior vice president and chief human resources officer. We caught up with David who has worked at the Black Hills Energy café since it opened two years ago.

Read the full story where David shares more about himself and his work on page 57 of the sustainability report.

By investing in the success of our employees, continually innovating, thoughtfully utilizing resources and keeping people at the core of our decision-making, we are dedicated to the sustainability of our company, communities and planet.

We partner with our communities and customers, providing the kind of energy that fuels those areas and the lives of those we serve. Feel free to share the stories and photos. Make sure to tag us on FacebookInstagram, LinkedIn and Twitter.
