YorkFest parade theme highlights home in Nebraska
parade

A little moisture didn’t stop our team in York, Nebraska, from participating in the annual Yorkfest activities Sept. 10.

“It rained on our parade, but we all had a good time anyway,” said York area Operations Supervisor Jeff. Several of our team members and their families showed up to take part in the Yorkfest parade, driving five vehicles including the mini go-kart.

This year’s parade theme was “There’s No Place Like Home,” so the York crew decorated their float wit the things they like best about home: spending time outside, grilling, roasting marshmallows by the fire pit, watching a University of Nebraska game and just hanging out with friends.

They also included a subtle reminder that Black Hills Energy natural gas is a big part of what makes home so comfortable!

We partner with our communities and customers, providing the kind of energy that fuels those areas and the lives of those we serve. Feel free to share the stories and photos. Follow us on FacebookInstagram, LinkedIn,Twitter, YouTube, and Pinterest for more!
