Nebraska team lends an arm
arm

For emergency medical technicians (EMTs), having opportunities to train can mean the difference between life and death for their patients. Some skills aren’t easy to practice, though.

Recently the Imperial, Nebraska, team of Nebraska Gas was able to make a donation to the Grant Volunteer Fire Department so they could purchase a “practice arm” that EMTs can use to practice inserting IVs and drawing blood. Training tools such as these help EMTs build confidence and skills they will put to use in an emergency.

The Grant Volunteer Fire Department provides fire protection and emergency medical response to the Grant community.
