Snow fun in Iowa
team standing next to ice

Each year, our Dubuque, Iowa, team spends a morning packing snow to prepare for the Dubuque Museum of Art Winter Arts Snow Sculpting Festival.

Earlier in February, the team worked to pack blocks of compact snow eight feet tall and six feet by six feet wide. Teams of artists then sculpted the blocks into massive snow sculptures. The artwork is judged and available for viewing until the snow melts, with the winning team going on to represent Iowa at the U.S. National Snow Sculpting Competition.

This annual event is a fun way for our Dubuque employees to be involved in the community during the long winter season. Thanks to all who participated!

We partner with our communities and customers, providing the kind of energy that fuels those areas and the lives of those we serve. Feel free to share the stories and photos. Follow us on FacebookInstagram, LinkedInTwitter, YouTube, and Pinterest for more!
